This design offers many advantages including creating acoustic privacy for the patient while providing the most accessible location for the staff to assist in use of the toilet. This option maximizes the size of the exterior window for best daylighting views and creates a dedicated family zone with patient recliner and overnight sleeper sofa out of the way of nurse work zone areas. For these rooms, we believe the sweet spot to maximize efficiency while giving ample room for nurse work, patient, and family zones is 290 SF.
