The Summit Church wanted a refreshment to the Kids Ministry spaces to bring more energy and kid-oriented environment, while providing more intrinsic way-finding for the kids and parents.
Working closely together, our design-build team provided a dynamic entry sequence that emphasized the 5 points of interest with colors and distinct spaces to interact with registration, ministry, and support materials. The outer lobby entry sequence provides an energetic entry to build enthusiasm for families dropping off. The multi-level panels with lighted edges and provide a energetic space!
Inside the Kids Ministry we are creating a new wholistic environment, using color, shapes, and design to communicate location and give a sense of spaces and use. The inner lobby features gateways to present the large educational spaces that are holistically themed for Science and Fantasy. While the younger kids find their rooms down a Main Street, finding their way to color coded, interactive “shops” along the street for their rooms.
