The Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis Chesterfield is an upscale addition to the Drury family of hotels. It contains banquette rooms, meeting rooms, fitness center, indoor/outdoor heated pool, restaurant, and lower level garage parking.

The exterior of the building includes natural and synthetic materials to create a high-class facade at an economical price. The lower two stories and canopy are clad in natural stone. The third through tenth floors are composed of architectural glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) panels. These same GFRC panels were used to ‘cap’ the building with a decorative cornice.

The floors have been ‘grouped’ by two-story curtain wall window systems to minimize the appearance of the building’s height in a primarily residential area. To further integrate the property into its surroundings, this design blends elements from several neighboring buildings while still providing a distinct image for the hotel. Other considerations included shielding the parking garage and surface lots from view through the use of earth berms and landscaping.
