Why did you decide to work in the AEC industry?
I’ve always had a head for art and design; as a young boy I thought of using these talents for my career. On a tour of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Conference Center in Salt Lake City, UT I was reminded of my boyhood aspirations as I marveled at the grand spaces of the foyers, halls, and incredible conference hall. Walking across the buildings amazing large roof-top garden I thought once again, this is what I want to do. I returned to college as a non-traditional student and earned a master’s degree in architecture.
