To learn more about Dominic’s vision for the future and his new position, we sat down with him for a brief interview.

What does this promotion to principal mean to you both personally and professionally? 

 I hope to use this promotion as the next step in advocating for our clients and for our staff and their familiesI am passionate about continuing the growth of the firm to create more opportunities for our staff to grow and excel in their professional and personal goals! 

What excites you about this new role and the responsibilities that come with it? 

 I am excited for the opportunities for growth and mentorship that come with these new rolesI am fulfilled by mentoring others and encouraging clients and staff to be creative and passionate in life. 

What are some of the biggest challenges you anticipate facing in your new role? 

The challenges of leadership will always center on keeping the focus of our firm (and culture) on our collective community and familiesI am a growthoriented advocate for change and believe we must have clear, articulate goals backed up by a strategic understanding. Bringing these goals in balance requires active participation and management.  

How will you contribute to the firm’s continued success and growth in your new role? 

 I look forward to continuing to make spaces for learning and advancement of people through learning spaces and faith-based spaces.  As the LEARN Studio Director I will be looking to raise the expertise of our staff, allowing them to express their professional passions and coordinating the work between our client managers into a strategic vision. 

How do you envision collaborating with the other Principals and ACI Boland leadership to achieve the firm’s goals? 

 I already love working with Sam, Doug, and KeithThe leadership has a history of humility and openness that encourages new ideas, validation of what we already do, and they have the courage to honestly understand their own strengths and weaknessesIt’s exciting to be part of a fertile environment where all ideas are welcome and encouraged!  

How do you envision collaborating with the other Principals and ACI Boland leadership to achieve the firm’s goals? 

Three things:

  • Be true and be honest with yourself.
  • Error on the side of transparency.
  • Ask open-ended questions: it’s the best way to truly understand the needs of the client.
