With over twenty four years in the architectural profession, Rick has had the opportunity to design a wide range of projects throughout the United States. His work has incorporated both small and large projects ranging from land planning, lifestyle centers, corporate offices, financial institutions, retail, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, senior living and parking structures. Rick has been involved at all project stages from design through contract administration, as well as extensive experience leading clients through the municipal zoning approval process.
Architecture is much more than designing beautiful buildings or spaces; it is also about making a space or building function, flow and enhance the activity it is designed for as well as provide a great experience for the people utilizing the space. His biggest passion comes from the process of meeting with a client to hear their dreams and desires for a new or better building or space and then putting together all the pieces necessary to make the dream a reality.
Outside of the office: Rick enjoys time at the lake water skiing, fishing and hanging out with his wife, daughter and son. Weekends during the spring and summer Rick enjoys drag racing and attending car shows in his 1969 Mach 1 and plays ice hockey during the fall and winter.
Rick is active several professional organizations including Progress 64 West, Regional Commerce and Growth Association and is continuing to serve on the Architectural Review Board for the City of Chesterfield.
