Apache Elementary Lighting Award

Apache Elementary School has won the IESNA Illumination Guth Award.  Congratulation to Connie Lauer and Lauren Cunningham who worked hard to make this school an incredible success.

About Apache Elementary:
With the new Highlands up and running, it’s Apache’s turn to start building toward the future.

The current Apache building, constructed in 1958, was selected for reconstruction this past year due to its aging condition. A review of the facility determined it was more cost effective to replace rather than renovate the existing structure.

Apache students and staff will be able to attend school in the current building throughout the construction process. The new Apache is expected to open in the fall of 2012.
